This is Alex, The owner of Aesthetics by Alexandra.
“I studied Esthetics at Paul Mitchell located in San Jose, California. I received many awards and certificates during my time of attendance, which included deans list and honors. With the immense amount of extra academic work and time I invested involving clubs and extra curricular activities, I pride myself with these achievements. I am also NovaLash , Dermaplane Pro, and Hydra facial MD certified. I have been a licsenced California Esthetician since 2016.”
Our philosophy for the spa is to make our guests feel as great as they look, from the inside out.
“My focus is the importance of knowing how to properly take care of your skin which is why I educate my guests and encourage them to do their own research in regards to learning more about our largest organ ; YOUR SKIN.” Alex comments.
What lead me to my path to pursue a career in Esthetics was my own story with learning about skin care when I was 17, which sent me down a road of trying multiple products ranging from the drugstore to even dermatologists visits.
Nothing seemed to be working for my skin as it was going through this dramatic change, which lead me to have acne along with scarring. This was a time in my life where I felt completely embarrassed and my self esteem fell to an all time low.
I finally decided I no longer wanted to keep lathering my face with a product in hopes of it helping, and signed myself up for Esthetician school. I love this industry and have had a passion for it, from being in diapers and taking my mothers makeup, to being 15 and creating my own homemade sugar wax and using it on myself.
So here I am graduated as a Licensed Esthetician who is continuously learning and researching the science behind skin on a daily basis.
